Experience the unique nature of the Reisa Valley

The Reisa Valley lays like an axe blow in the mountain plain through which runs the mighty the Reisa River. The Reisa Valley still contains large areas of untouched nature and is part of "Europe’s last wilderness". Right in the centre of this fantastic nature, you will find Reisastua Wilderness Lodge situated just 30 m from the river and boasting stunning views of the valley. Reisastua has the perfect location from which to share this unique valley with our guests. Reisastua specialises in arranging courses and meetings with unique nature-based adventures for groups of up to 14 people. The Reisa River is possibly the world’s most beautiful salmon river and its fantastic nature includes Northern Europe’s highest waterfall, Mollisfossen (269 m). The nature here is incredibly special, with narrow valleys and chasms that cut their way like a large canyon in the mountain plain. Uppermost in the valley is the Imofossen waterfall, the final stop for the Reisa salmon. Tourists from around the globe visit there annually to experience this unique and impressive valley. Reisastua offers activities year-round and every season here is exciting.

Chasing Silvers Trip to Reisastua Lodge

This summer Reisastua Lodge was paid a visit by Chasing Silver Magazine, which in a few hectic days, experienced some of the Reisa River and what the area could offer. They liked the river and Reisastua so well that they wrote an article on both the river, fishing, nature and the rest of the experience they had with us during the visit. In the november 2010 issue you can read the article in its entirety. We recommend that everyone subscribe to this great fly fishing magazine.
